A different countdown Chicago 2015

 Festivities at MB Financial Park include live music, balloon drops, champagne toasts and a midnight fireworks display.

ROSEMONT, IL – The Village of Rosemont is thrilled to announce that MB Financial Park at Rosemont will once again serve as one of the sites for ABC 7’s New Year’s Eve LIVE broadcast “Countdown Chicago 2015,” December 31, 2014 at 11:08 p.m. ABC 7’s Ryan Chiaverini and Val Warner will be on-site at MB Financial Park at Rosemont to ring in 2015, showcasing the area’s great entertainment options leading up to an explosive fireworks presentation at the stroke of midnight.

All venues will host special New Year’s Eve festivities including balloon drops, special dinner menus, live music and champagne toasts.  2015 will begin with a bang at midnight with a fireworks display for the entire park to celebrate the beginning of the New Year.  Country-rock group Jacob Martin Band will be headlining at Toby Keith’s.

The center of MB Financial Park has been transformed into an NHL-sized ice rink for Skating in the Park, creating the perfect place for families to celebrate the New Year. The public is invited to skate for free, and skate rentals are available for $8. The ice rink maintains the best view of the  New Year’s Eve fireworks show at midnight, and will be open to all ages from 11- 1 a.m. Skating in the Park will continue through March 1, 2015.
