Shoreline Sightseeing hits the water: sure sign of spring’s return to Chicago.
CHICAGO .– With forecasts surpassing 50 degrees this week, Shoreline Sightseeing has announced it launched its first Architecture River Tour of 2015 on March 12.
A staple of Chicago’s waterways for the past 76 years, Shoreline Sightseeing was among the premier tour boat operators to offer architecture tours on the Chicago River. With vivid detail of Chicago’s storied skyline, Shoreline has introduced generations of Chicagoans and visitors from just about every country in the world to the City in unforgettable fashion.
Shoreline’s popular 75-minute Architecture River Tour features stunning views and entertaining stories of Chicago’s history, architects and famous landmarks delivered by knowledgeable guides.
“We’re committed to providing our passengers with a unique perspective on this beautiful city that we hope will have a lasting impression,” said Chip Collopy, family member and president of Shoreline Sightseeing.
Along with its Architecture River Tours, Shoreline operates Classic Lake Tours and Chicago’s longest-running water taxi service, both of which are slated to begin in April, weather-permitting.
