Old Town Restaurant Week returns in Chicago

With offers from the neighborhood’s most notable and newest hotspots October 26 – 31. New restaurants, sake tastings, cooking demonstrations and exclusive offers invite guests to get a true taste of Old Town.

CHICAGO – Chicagoans will get a new taste of Old Town during the 2015 Old Town Restaurant Week Monday, October 26 – Saturday, October 31. This week-long foodie celebration, presented by the Old Town Merchants & Residents Association, will include more than a dozen restaurants offering special menu options, cooking demonstrations and week-long dining deals across Chicago’s historic Old Town neighborhood allowing residents and visitors a chance to get a true taste of the Old Town’s booming restaurant scene.

Old Town Restaurant Week participants can indulge in multi-international fare including French cuisine, traditional Italian, American classics, pub favorites and more. Restaurants will feature special programing and deals from longtime neighborhood favorites such as O’Briens Restaurant and Kamehachi as well as new local hotspots including Buzz Bait, Pomp & Circumstance and The VIG.

Old Town Restaurant Week will also feature tastings and cooking demonstrations that highlight the diversity of the local dining scene. Some of the scheduled events include a pizza making class on Thursday, October 29; 5 - 7 p.m. at Dinotto Pizza e Vino, Burgundy tasting on Wednesday, October 28;  6 - 8 p.m. at Bistrot Margot as well as a sake tasting and discussion on Tuesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 29; 6 - 6:30 p.m. at Kamehachi. These events will be held in tandem with special offers from these and many other neighborhood restaurants throughout the week.
